Live ware accessories
Sony Ericsson (soon to just become Sony :-( ) has come out with key accesories to support their new android phone application manager: liveware.
Liveware lets you control android applications with the accesories connected to a Xperia android phone. I have an Xperia Ray (awesome phone!), and I've bought the Livesound Hi-Fi stereo headset, and the DK10 Livedock. Both were imported from Europe via Amazon.UK (they have wicked fast shipping) as Sony Ericsson USA is always way behind the curve.
I'm gonna play around with my new accessories for a while before posting the reviews. Til then, cheerios...

Gundam Harute [flight mode]
It is completed. The build was better than I expected; the flight mode doesn't feel flimsy as other reviewers have pointed out. Just remember that this is NOT an action figure, it is a poseable model. Basically not a toy, but a figure.
This model does a much better job at concealing the "mobile suit" mode while in flight mode compared to others suits (Wing Gundam).
And all the weapons can be attached to the flight mode, which makes it awesome. Overall: great job on the flight mode.
Next I'll review the mobile suit mode.

Beginning of winter
The temperature is dropping by the day. Today was definitely the coldest day of the week (upper 30's).
Tomorrow however it should warm up by getting into the upper 50's. Time to enjoy the last warm weekends we'll get until spring.

MG Sandrock [EW]
The kit is finally completed. I finished the assembly earlier this week. I am impressed by the design of this kit. It closely resembles the Sandrock custom, but with its ''original'' colours, and no cloak device.
In addition to the shield and heat shottels, we are given a machine gun that stores in the back, as well as in the shield. The shield and shottels can recreated the ''Cross Crusher" by pegging the shottels under the shield (without using the backpack). The engineering of the shield allows for the shottels to open and close, which is a great bonus.
And speaking of bonus, we are given a second set of blades that resemble the blades heated up (hence the "heat" shottels).
Sandrock was always one of my favorite gundams so I am glad we finally got the chance to get a Master Grade.

Midnight search
[Tues 30th] The power has not been restored yet. It is estimated that half (or more) of Long Island has no power still. As an effect the food in our fridges has spoil and we had to throw out 3/4 of the food. We are out late looking for ice to keep the rest of the food refrigerated til the power comes back. Many people are out driving in pitch dark to buy supplies.
Unfortunely CVS ran out of office, as some 7-Elevens.
We continue driving to look for ice. Situations like these make you appreciate the minor things in life.
Charge station
My uncle's house is the only house that has power from our family. We came to charge our phones and computers, as well as to cook some food.
Getting here however was not easy. We had to make many detours as the roads were literally blocked by trees, whole grown trees uprooted lying in the middle of the streets.
