Gundam Harute [flight mode]

It is completed. The build was better than I expected; the flight mode doesn't feel flimsy as other reviewers have pointed out. Just remember that this is NOT an action figure, it is a poseable model. Basically not a toy, but a figure.
This model does a much better job at concealing the "mobile suit" mode while in flight mode compared to others suits (Wing Gundam).
And all the weapons can be attached to the flight mode, which makes it awesome. Overall: great job on the flight mode.
Next I'll review the mobile suit mode.

Exia revived

I must have gotten this HG Exia about 4 years ago. This was the first Gundam model I got after my long break from modeling. Since then I have learned various techniques to improve the look of my models.

On the picture above, I have discovered how to add GN particles (green shinny piece on chest) to my Gundam 00 models. This detail is what defines Gundam 00 models, and without it the model would not be complete.

Originally I had only used the black stickers that came with the model. What I have done to improve is, was to remove the clear piece, paint the black sticker with a "special" paint I found at Michael's [I don't know why anyone else has not picked up on this special paint yet]. The next step was to paint the clear piece with Tomiya clear green [common technique]. Both of these paints make the result above [but I'll keep that secret with me for now].

"Awakening of the Trailblazer" at NYAF

OMG!!! I have been waiting for this movie to premiere. I thought I'd have to wait months for this to come out in DVD, but now it's premiering at the New York Anime Festival (NYAF)! The showing will be on the last day, Sunday October 10. I sure hope I get to watch it. The trailer looks amazing, and I hear the ending will be surprising. I will give you a review once I watched the movie. Can't wait!!!

The GN particle effect

If you notice carefully you can see that change is in the glittery paint that I used to coat the already painted drives. I bought a Christmas Green [for Original Solar Drives] and Christmas Red [for Tau Drives] glitter paints at Michael's. They were cheap so I thought I would spruce up the models with GN Drives.

GN-X Commander Pettycoat's custom

This GN-X has a different color scheme, reddish instead of grey. Higher ups in the military have the privilege to customize their mobile suits. Commander Pettycoat's GN-X carries a GN long beam rifle for long distance shooting, and beam sabers.

GNX-603T GN-X

This is the earth's military new mobile suit: the GN-X. The gray scheme is the standard color for the suit. It carries a GN beam rifle, shield and beam sabers.

Zaku Gunner custom

I got a Zaku Gunner for Christmas and decided to customize it with the Alemannya Battalion colors. The color scheme works great actually, but is taking a while to paint all the parts with gundam markers [from a light green to black]. I'll post again when its finished. As of now only the legs remain to put together.
